Rug Pattern - Charlie's Garden

Hooked Rug - Charlie's Garden
Hooked by Katheryn Quebe

Can't you just imagine an Iowa garden in August?  That good black dirt and so many vegetables that you can't eat or put them up fast enough?  You take to leaving baskets of zucchini on your neighbors' porches at midnight.

Our Iowa gardener, Charlie, knew just what to plant.  Bright veggies like eggplant, carrots, corn and red peppers.  Good-for-you greens like cabbage, peas, green onions, and of course the zucchini.  Fruit like strawberries and melons and (remember your botany) tomatoes.

Just try to keep the rabbits out of that!
